ABOUT SARAH NIXEY

Founding member and lead singer for the band Black Box Recorder, the group known for top 40 singles like "The Facts of Life."

She was previously in the band Balloon.

She wrote and produced the critically-acclaimed album Brave Tin Soldiers.

She married music producer Jimmy Hogarth in 2010. She had a son with Hogarth in 2007 and has a daughter from her previous marriage to John Moore.

While with Black Box Recorder, she and the band collaborated with Eddie Argos and his band, Art Brut.
