Advocate and host of the true crime podcast, Voices for Justice. She publicizes cases that are unsolved, under publicized or otherwise in need of justice or closure. She uses her saraheturney TikTok account, which has amassed 1.2 million fans, to share videos about different cases.

She launched her first podcast in 2019.

She was featured in Elle magazine in July of 2020. She also has a second podcast called Disappearances.

Her sister, Alissa, disappeared in 2000. Turney's journey began with a media campaign to pressure the police into arresting their father for the murder of her sister.

She has covered the murder of Gabby Petito .
