ABOUT SAUMYA TANDON

Indian actress, television personality, and model, notable for hosting many shows including Dance India Dance, Comedy Circus Ke Taansen, and Zor Ka Jhatka: Total Wipeout, the Indian version of the show Wipeout.

Before working in television, she wrote poetry, publishing a book called Meri Bhavnayein.

Her debut film role was as Roop in the 2007 romantic comedy When We Met.

She was born in Bhopal, Madhya Pradesh, India, and she cites her father as an inspiration to start writing.

Her work on When We Met brought her together with Hindi film star Shahid Kapoor .
