She was raised in Maryland. Her video went viral when she was eight years old, earning more than 10 million views.

After her video went viral, she was invited to appear on programs such as Good Morning America . In addition to her TV and film credits, she is recognized for her Savvy ASL brand and content online.

She was born to deaf parents, who have appeared in her online content. She has two younger sisters who are also deaf.

In her viral video, she signed the lyrics to the song "Champion" by Carrie Underwood , whom she later met in person.
