ABOUT SCOTT CHIPPERFIELD
Australian soccer player best known as a left back for FC Basel, where he played from 2001 to 2012. He won seven Swiss Super League titles with the club during that span.
He was a Liverpool supporter as a child.
He won back-to-back Johnny Warren Medals as the best player in the A-League in 2000 and 2001.
His parents are Kenneth and Dale Chipperfield.
He played alongside team captain Lucas Neill on the Australian squad at the 2010 FIFA World Cup.
