Scott Hampton

ABOUT SCOTT HAMPTON

Famous for co-creating the DC Comics character Simon Dark and for working on a solo comic book series titled The Upturned Stone, he is also notable for his work on Pacific Comics' painted Silverheels comic, as well as for his artistic contributions to the Magic: The Gathering cards.

At the start of his career, he contributed to a 1981 edition of the Vampirella comic book series.

In the early 2000s, he worked on the Spookhouse and Batman: Gotham County Line comics.

A native of High Point, North Carolina, he is the husband of Letitia Hampton and the younger brother of fellow comic book artist Bo Hampton.

In the mid 1970s, he trained under the renowned cartoonist Will Eisner .
