American actor best known for his appearance on the series Our Gang from 1934 to 1935.

He was discovered at the age of three when a casting director overheard him singing.

His last major role was as Winky on the television series Rocky Jones, Space Ranger.

He was married to Beverly Baker from 1949 to 1950, Sunny Vickers from 1951 to 1957, and Margaret Sabo from 1961 to 1968.

He appeared in Dante's Inferno alongside Spencer Tracy .
