Born with the name John Welsh, he is a British YouTuber whose channel features videos all about the extreme sport Airsoft. His YouTube name is taken from a German Shepherd dog named Scout.

He was a regular guy living a basic life with a job and kids before beginning his popular YouTube channel.

He supplied some of the video coverage on the AC/DC DVD box set Plug Me In.

He lives with his partner and two children in the town he grew up in in Scotland.

He and Novritsch have both gained followings for uploading Airsoft content to YouTube.
