ABOUT SEAN FRYE
Former child actor best known for playing the role of Steve, the friend of Elliott's older brother, in the 1982 Steven Spielberg blockbuster film E.T. the Extra-Terrestrial . He also appeared in the feature film For Keeps, opposite Molly Ringwald .
Before his most notable role in E.T. the Extra-Terrestrial, he appeared in a number of guest spots in television series such as Little House on the Prairie . He is certified in grant-writing.
He played a drug-addicted teenager in Toughlove, a made-for-television film. He met Elvis Presley in 1974 at Schwab's Pharmacy. Over the years, he held numerous jobs outside of acting, including as an HIV counselor in Los Angeles in the 90s.
His father is actor Virgil Frye and his half-sister is actress Soleil Moon Frye .
In E.T. the Extra-Terrestrial, he appeared alongside actors Henry Thomas and Drew Barrymore .
