ABOUT SEAN MCCANN
Successful Canadian actor with a career span of over 40 years who received the Earle Grey Award in 1989 for his work in television. He amassed over 150 acting credits throughout his long career. His final role was playing the shopkeeper in the 2021 movie Defining Moments.
He was great at sports as a child often playing in competitive baseball and he started his adult life studying at London's St. Peter's Seminary to become a priest.
He was involved in politics when he ran against Roy McMurty in the 1979 provincial election for Ontario.
He had five granddaughters: Sophie, Jacqueline, Madeleine, Amelie and Kathleen.
He co-starred with Miranda Richardson in the film, Swann for which he received a Genie Award nomination in the Best Performance by an Actor in a Supporting Role category.
