ABOUT SENAD BASIC

Most well known for his portrayal of Faruk Fazlinovic on the Bosnian television series Lud, Zbunjen, Normalan, he is also notable for his work in films such as Shanghai Gypsy (2012) and Adria Blues (2013).

During the 1980s, he studied at Sarajevo's Academy of Performing Arts.

In 2002, he was nominated for a Golden Leopard Best Actor award at the Locarno Film Festival.

A native of Trebinje, Bosnia and Herzegovina, he later settled in Sarajevo with his wife and children.

He appeared with Stephen Dillane , Marisa Tomei, and Woody Harrelson in the 1997 British film Welcome to Sarajevo.
