ABOUT SHAHEILA BINTI ABDUL MAJID
Also known as Sheila Majid, she is a pop singer who is best known for her successful 1986 single "Sinaran". She is known for turning jazz back into a popular genre.
With a passion for music at a young age, she released her debut album in 1985 titled Dimensi Baru. She would record on a variety of labels until eventually earning representation from Warner Music Malaysia.
In 1996, she was the first Malaysian artist to stage a solo show in London's West End at the Royalty Theatre.
She was born and raised in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. She has two children, Wan Nur Khaleda and Megat Abdul Majid.
In 1996, she was known for playing at Ronnie Scott 's Jazz Club in London.
