ABOUT SHARON IRVING
Rose to fame competing on the tenth season of the NBC reality competition series America's Got Talent. Also a poet, she released the spoken word EP Simplicity in 2010.
She worked as a worship leader while attending North Park University to earn a degree in communication. She then became a featured vocalist on the universities spoken word album.
She has served as a worship leader for Willow Creek Community church and led worship alongside fellow singer Darlene Zschech .
Her father, Robert Irving III, was a jazz musician and musical director for Miles Davis . Her younger brother Jeremy, known by his stage name Jeremiah Jae, is a producer.
She was beaten out by comedian Paul Zerdin in the semifinals of America's Got Talent.
