ABOUT SHARON TAYLOR
Award-winning television and film actress, entertainer, artist, and performer who is most recognized by her role as Rose Sunwind in the crime drama series Bad Blood. She has also gained recognition from her roles in Altered Carbon , Big Sky and Smallville . In the year 2024, she was casted to star in the Netflix series Dead Boy Detectives .
She is a graduate of Simon Fraser University. At the time, she primarily acted in theatre productions.
Besides acting, she also has a passion for martial arts. In fact, she's a 2nd degree black belt in the practice of kickboxing. Upon learning that Sharon was a black belt kickboxer, the producers of Stargate: Atlantis decided to write it into her character's actions in the episode "The Prodigal". Taylor is also trained in Jiu-Jitsu and Muay Thai.
She grew up living with her family in Vancouver, Canada.
She co-starred alongside Vincent D'Onofrio in the SyFy drama series Ghost Wars .
