Before becoming an actor, he sold sunglasses and worked as a model.
He won a Star Award for Best Actor for his performance on The Journey: Tumultuous Times in 2015.
He was married to actress Michelle Chia from 2009 to 2011 He got remarried to a woman named Celine in 2015 and had a daughter named Nellie.
He acted alongside Felicia Chin on Love Thy Neighbour.
