Shekhar Ravjiani
ABOUT SHEKHAR RAVJIANI
Singer, composer, and director best known as one half of the musical-directing duo Vishal-Shekhar and has worked on a number of Hindi, Telugu, Tamil, and Marathi films, as well as live events like Indian Idol and Indian Idol Junior.
He was classically trained in singing and competed ZeeTV reality singing competition Sa Re Ga Ma Pa in 1997.
He wrote and sang two Marathi songs in 2012 and 2013, titled "Saazni" and "Saavli."
His family originated in the Kutch region of India. His father Hasmukh Ravjiani taught him how to play the accordion.
The second half of the musical directing duo Vishal-Shekhar is Vishal Dadlani .
