ABOUT SHEMAR JAMES

Former Florida Gator that played linebacker at the University of Florida from 2022 until 2024. During his first season at Florida, he earned All-SEC Freshman honors. He was eventually drafted by the Dallas Cowboys as a fifth rounder in 2025.

He was considered a four-star recruit while at the Faith Academy in Mobile, Alabama. While there, he played both offense and defense.

As a senior in high school, he was considered the second best linebacker in his class. Following his final season at Florida, he was considered the 21st.

He is a native of Mobile, Alabama.

He is a former Florida collegiate athlete just like Pete Alonso and Brandon Spikes .
