ABOUT SHERIDA SPITSE

Professional soccer player who played as a midfielder for Ajax. She has competed in three FIFA Women's World Cups. In the 2019 FIFA Women's World Cup, she reached the finals with the Netherlands national team.

She made her debut for the Netherlands national team in 2006. In 2007, she joined SC Heerenveen and competed in the Vrouwen Eredivisie, the highest women's soccer league in the Netherlands.

She has a popular Instagram account sheridaspitse, which has gained 100,000 followers. She primarily posts photos of her soccer games and practice sessions.

She married Jolien van der Turin. Together they have one son and one daughter.
