ABOUT SHIDO NAKAMURA

Japanese film actor best known for his work in Kabuki feature films. He is known for having played Ichiryu Oshita in the 2015 film Kishuteneki Terminal as well as Gan Xing in the 2008 film Red Cliff.

He made his Kabuki film acting debut at the age of 8. He started gaining international attention in 2004 when he starred in the romance movie Ima, Ai Ni Yukimasi.

He is known for having won the Newcomer of the Year award in 2003 for his role in the film Pinpon at the Japanese Academy Awards.

He is the son of fellow Kabuki actor Nakamura Shido I.

He starred alongside Jet Li and Nathan Jones in the 2006 feature film Fearless.
