ABOUT SHIVA KALAISELVAN

Award-winning television and film actor, entertainer, artist, and performer who is most recognized by her role as Leila in the action series Gotham . She has also gained recognition from her roles in A Nice Girl Like You , Charmed and New Amsterdam .

She is a graduate of Indiana University . While there, she studied finance.

Besides acting, she also has a passion for screenwriting and producing. As a result of her highly-acclaimed work on the comedy series Tuesday Night, the show was named "Best Dramedy" during the 2019 NYC Web Fest.  In the year 2024, she was cast in a starring role in the drama film Hungry.

Growing up, she lived with her family in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. She is now based in New York City.

She co-starred alongside Jada Pinkett Smith in the action series Gotham.
