Her maiden name is Walker. She and Bennett met in 2008 at an Usher concert. She graduated from Sarah Lawrence College in 2010.

She has worked as a makeup artist and as the co-owner of the Halfsies kids clothing boutique.

She and Martellus were married in 2011. They have one daughter together, Jett Rose.

Her brother-in-law is NFL player Michael Bennett .
