British television actor known for his roles on such popular comedy series as The Mighty Boosh, Jam & Jerusalem, and Horrible Histories. Also a screenwriter, he penned and starred in a SkyOne comedy called Yonderland. He plays Barry in the popular movies Paddington and Paddington 2 .
Early in his career, he appeared in the popular British soap opera Coronation Street .
He hosted a 2013 documentary film titled Richard III: The King in the Car Park. He is a creator and writer on the TV series Ghosts , which he also acts in.
