Colombian singer and bassist best known as a member of the folk-pop act Morat . His band's 2016 debut Sobre el Amor y Sus Efectos Secundarios earned Best New Artist nominations at the Latin Grammys, Dial Awards and SHOCK Awards.

He attended the University of the Andes in Bogota, Colombia.

His band's single "Como te Atreves" hit #1 on iTunes. In March 2020, he published his first book titled A la Orilla de la Luz.

His brother Martín Vargas has been a percussionist in Morat. He has been dating fellow singer Nathalia Campos .

His song "Cuánto me Duele" was produced by Mauricio Rengifo .
