ABOUT SIMONE JOY JONES

Actress and singer best known for playing Lisa in the Peacock series Bel-Air . Her Bel-Air character was played by Nia Long in season five of The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air . She also played Joy in the Netflix series The Chair. She also had a minor role in a 2021 episode of the series American Rust .

At the age of 10, she starred in a Broadway production of Miracle Worker, based on Helen Keller 's life. She was accepted into the Drama/Musical Theatre program at Carnegie Mellon University . In 2021, she received her Bachelor's in Fine Arts.

She recorded as a musical artist under the name S!MONE. Her singles included "We" featuring Dan Sully.

She grew up listening to Christian music. Her father played 1980s artists on CDs and her love for music began when she watched her mother sing in choir practice.
