ABOUT SIMONE RICCIONI
Actor who is famous for his career throughout Italian film, including as the star of the popular 2017 drama Tiro Libero. He rose to widespread fame for his role in the 2013 comedy Universitari - Molto più che amici.
He moved to Italy at age 7 with his family from Uganda. He began acting in local theater at age 15.
He won the prestigious Gold Elephant Festival award for acting revelation for his work as the lead on the 2016 film Come saltano i pesci. He also co-produced and wrote the film.
His parents worked in Uganda for the service organization AVSI at the time of his birth.
He appeared alongside Benedetta Parodi on the popular Italian TV series I Soliti Idioti.
