ABOUT SINO MSOLO

South African musician, Instagram star, and vocalist who has gained a following for his collaborations with renowned DJ, Sun-EL Musician . His own music mixes smooth pop and afro beats with his melodic vocals. His Instagram, sinomsolo, has over 360,000 followers.

He has been singing since he was young. In  2015 he taught himself how to play a guitar. When he moved to Bloemfontein in 2019 to study at the University of the Free State, he started performing at festivals and posting his music to YouTube. In the spring of that year, he posted videos to Twitter covering songs by Sun-EL Musician and tagged him. The famous DJ liked and retweeted the post, so he direct messaged him to ask to work under his label, and was later signed.

He was a lead singer in younger grades as well as in his Sunday School group. In 2014 he started taking music seriously and formed an accapella group. He has released three albums; Mamela in 2019, Fezisa in 2022, and KWAM in July 2024, which features the hit single "Mntase."

He is from Flagstaff, South Africa, a small town in the Eastern Cape. He was raised alongside an older brother and younger sister by educator parents. His father is a principal and his mother is a grade one teacher.

He is inspired by the musicians Sjava Indlalifa and Sun-EL Musician . He has collaborated with many African musicians, like Kabza De Small .
