ABOUT SOFIE SVAVA

Professional defender that was signed by the Li Liga based soccer team Real Madrid . Prior to Real Madrid, she played for VfL Wolfsburg, FC Rosengård and Brøndby IF. She has also made appearances as a member of the Danish women's national team.

She signed her first professional contract with Brøndby IF in 2017 as a teenager. She played there for two club seasons.

In 2019, she was named the Danish Football Player of the Year. She was also named the Danish Breakthrough Player of the Year in 2019. Her sofie.svava Instagram page has become a popular place for fans to find photos of her in action on the field, as well as a few snapshots from her life.

She is a native of Gentofte, Denmark
