ABOUT SOK PISEY

Cambodian singer and social media star. In 2008, she paused her career for two years after she was injured in a car crash. Her mother and three other family members died in the collision. She has amassed more than 1 million followers on her sok_piseysunday Instagram account.

She started her professional singing career in 2004.

In 2010, she filed a complaint with the Phnom Penh Municipal Police after an x-rated video used her name without permission. She sought US$50,000 in compensation from the filmmakers.

Her father is named Sok Heng.

She and Sokun Nisa are both successful Cambodian singers.
