ABOUT SONIA O'NEILL

Professional midfielder that was signed by Croatian based ŽNK Split in 2021. Before signing with ŽNK Split, she played for the Rangers W.F.C. She has also made appearances as a member of the Venezuelan women's national team.

She attended Niagara University where she played collegiate soccer for a few seasons. She later transferred to the University of North Florida.

She played for ŽNK Split during the 2019-20 UEFA Women's Champions League qualifiers. She scored her first goal with ŽNK Split during that same tournament.

She grew up living with her family in Toronto, Canada. She was born of Venezuelan descent.

She plays the position of midfielder professionally just like Andrea Pirlo and Toni Kroos .
