ABOUT SOPHIE ALBERT

After winning the 2012 edition of the Artista Academy reality talent competition, Albert starred as Kate Castro-Mendez on the Philippine television series Never Say Goodbye.

Before competing on Artista Academy, she was signed to ABS-CBN's Star Magic talent program.

She was cast as Demetria in a 2014 TV5 show titled Wattpad Presents: Fake Fiance.

Born Bianca Lyttle Reyes, she is the great-niece of former Philippine President Corazon Aquino .

She and Aljur Abrenica both rose to fame for their appearances on reality talent competitions, as did Abrenica's brother, Vin Abrenica, with whom she shared her Artista Academy win.
