She first became known writing the lifestyle and travel blog Chic Flavours before launching the lifestyle brand Soraya Hennessy. Soraya Hennessy has become a popular handmade handbag brand and is inspired by her Wayuu heritage.
After earning her B.A. in hospitality management, she worked for some time in the industry before launching Chic Flavours in 2014.
Known for posting photos of her style and travels to Instagram, she has earned more than 50,000 followers.
Born and raised in Maracaibo, Venezuela, she moved to Chicago, Illinois in 2008. Then, in 2014, she and her husband, Tom, moved to Abu Dhabi, UAE.
Both she and Sam Beckerman are popular fashion bloggers and designers.
