She made her first on-screen singing appearance in 2004 as a contestant on Star Search.

She released Interscope's first gospel record at 12 and sang at the White House for President George W. Bush .

She grew up moving from military base to military base.

She joined fellow singer, Blake Shelton 's team on The Voice.
