ABOUT SPOOKY BLACK
Singer-songwriter also known by the stage name Corbin. He first gained prominence for his song and accompanying music video "Without You" in 2014. He has since joined thestand4rd, a music collective out of Saint Paul, Minnesota.
"Without You" was released to mild controversy, as it featured Black, a middle class white boy, in a do-rag and gold chains.
He and the other members of thestand4rd, Allan Kingdom , Psymun, and Bobby Raps, work together constantly. He toured with Psymun and also performed some of his solo work, and released the EP Couch Potato with Bobby Raps as Corbin in 2015.
He was raised in a mostly white community in Saint Paul, Minnesota. He is an only child.
His viral video attracted the attention of Toronto-based music producer Doc McKinney .
