New Zealand actress who has risen to fame for playing Dwayne Johnson 's mother on the sitcom Young Rock. She co-founded the theatre company Kila Kokonut Krew.
She studied performing and screen arts at Unitec Institute of Technology.
She received a nomination for Best Actress in a Broadcast Network or Cable Series, Comedy at the first Hollywood Critics Association TV Awards for her performance in Young Rock. She was a guest on a 2021 episode of The Kelly Clarkson Show.
She is from Auckland, New Zealand and later lived in Aotearoa.
She and Adrian Groulx worked together on the cast of Young Rock.
