ABOUT STANLEY DONWOOD
Artist best known for his work creating album covers for the band Radiohead . He and Thom Yorke have collaborated since 1994 and have won a Grammy together for Best Recording Package in 2002.
He was born Dan Rockwood, but employs Stanely Donwood as a pen name. He studied art at the University of Exeter which is where he met Yorke, who was also an art student.
He's also a talented writer and his website, Slowly Downward, features various pieces as well as his blog. He's also a prolific visual artist outside of his work with Radiohead and regularly has exhibitions and shows for his current projects.
He was born in Essex, England.
He also collaborated with Yorke on album art for the singer's other project, musical super group Atoms for Peace . The band included Flea from Red Hot Chili Peppers and Joey Waronker who played drums for R.E.M. and Beck .
