Canadian actor who appeared in Degrassi: The Next Generation , Home Again , and 12 Dates of Christmas. In 2018, he had his big break appearing as Walter Cruz in Amazon's Homecoming starring Julia Roberts . He also appeared in If Beale Street Could Talk that same year and was cast in 21 Bridges in 2019.

He acted early in his career in the TV movie, My Babysitter's a Vampire .

He was nominated for a Canadian Screen Award for his supporting role in the 2012 film, Home Again.

He's of Jamaican descent. His older brother is actor Shamier Anderson .

He appeared with Amy Smart in the 2011 ABC Family TV movie, 12 Dates of Christmas.
