ABOUT STEPHANIE LAND
American author and public speaker who rose to fame for her book Maid: Hard Work, Low Pay and a Mother's Will to Survive. Her writing tends to focus on poverty in the United States.
She earned a Bachelor of Arts in English and creative writing from the University of Montana in 2014.
She has worked as a writing fellow for the Center for Community Change.
She married Tim Faust in 2019. The couple has four children, two of whom are from previous relationships.
Barack Obama placed her book, Maid: Hard Work, Low Pay and a Mother's Will to Survive on his 2019 Summer Reading List.
