Canadian actress whose career gained steam when she landed a recurring role on the series Queer as Folk . She went on to have notable parts on the shows Degrassi: The Next Generation , Degrassi: Next Class and G-Spot.
She attended Canterbury High School of the Arts in Ottawa.
She wrote, produced and starred in the 2011 short Labour Laws.
She married Glenn Cockburn in 2003.
She appeared in the 2002 film John Q alongside Denzel Washington .
