ABOUT STEPHEN MALKMUS
Lead vocalist for the indie rock band Pavement who also founded the group Stephen Malkmus and the Jicks.
He worked as a security guard in New York at The Whitney Museum of American Art.
He rejoined Pavement in 2010.
He married the artist Jessica Jackson Hutchins.
He provided music for the film I'm Not There, which is based on Bob Dylan's life.
