ABOUT STEPHEN MARTINES
Known best for his four-year run as Nikolas Cassadine on the ABC soap opera General Hospital, Martines also appeared in episodes of Guiding Light, The Closer, The Vampire Diaries , and several other popular series.
Before beginning his acting career, he won a modeling contest judged by Tyra Banks and Heidi Klum and also served in the United States Air Force.
After briefly attending Missouri State University, he transferred to Webster University and played on the school's National Championship-winning soccer team.
Born to Stephen Martines Sr. and Marlene Lombardo, he grew up in St. Louis, Missouri with two sisters. He is related to the famous musician and bandleader Guy Lombardo .
He and Virginia Williams were both in the cast of a short-lived Lifetime soap opera titled Monarch Cove.
