ABOUT STEVE MCMAHON

Midfielder who played for five clubs from 1979-1998, having the most success with Liverpool from 1985-1991.

He played his youth soccer, and made his senior debut with Everton.

After his playing career ended, he took up careers in managing and commentary.

His son, Steve Jr, has also played professional soccer.

While at Liverpool he had a healthy rivalry with Wimbledon player Vinnie Jones .
