ABOUT STEVE RYAN
Late television star who made a name for himself as Det. Nate Grossman in the late 1980s series Crime Story. He would go on to play Secretary of Defense Miles Hutchinson in the popular political drama The West Wing .
He made his acting debut in 1980 in the telemovie Attica and the feature film Night of the Juggler.
Outside his screen roles, he has appeared in the original Broadway production of I'm Not Rappaport and in the revivals of On The Waterfront and Guys and Dolls.
He married Wendy Sue Walton. He passed away in 2007 after a long battle with illness.
He joined Suzy Nakamura in the cast of the 2000 sitcom Daddio.
