American television and film actor known for roles on the television series The Sopranos and The Secret Life of the American Teenager . He played Anthony Abetemarco throughout the series Blue Bloods .

He became interested in acting after earning an extra role in the film Casino.

He won a Screen Actors Guild Award for his work on The Sopranos. In 2025, he had a small role in the popular TV show Dexter: Resurrection.

He married Laura Lemos in 1989. They have two daughters, Bria and Ciara. His father, Ralph Schirripa, was Italian-American, and his mother, Lorraine Schirripa, was of Jewish descent. He has four siblings.

He starred in The Sopranos alongside actor James Gandolfini .
