She graduated summa cum laude from Syracuse University with a Bachelor of Science in TV, radio, and film. She then moved to Los Angeles, California, where her first professional job was as a producer for Madison Road Entertainment.

The Rhett and Link YouTube channel, which she has produced, has garnered over 5 million subscribers.

She began dating Cassie Cobb in 2011. The couple has a dog, and she frequently posts pictures of the three of them to Instagram. In September 2024, she made an Instagram post to celebrate their 13-year anniversary.
