ABOUT SUNKEE ANGEL

Singer known as an advocate for the transgender community. In 2014, she learned that she was HIV positive and released an inspirational music video titled "I Am Not A Label." In 2015, she appeared in a season-six episode of Glee . In 2019, she was a guest on the television dating show Flex on My Ex.

By the time she reached junior high school, she realized that she wanted to pursue a professional singing career. She began to write and record music.

Before transitioning, she performed as a singer, dancer and rapper named Digidoo. She also had a comedy alter-ego, Aunt T Jackie. In 2012, she moved to Los Angeles to escape intolerance and pursue her career.

As a child, she attended her family's church where her grandfather was the pastor. She is from Montgomery, Alabama.

She and Yasmin Finney are both entertainers who are transgender advocates.
