ABOUT SWANN ARLAUD
Actor and director best known for his multi-award-winning performance in the film By the Grace of God. His most notable works also include Lazare, Romantics Anonymous, and Bloody Milk. In 2018, he directed and starred in the short film Little White Dude.
He made his acting debut in 1987, in the film Jeux d'artifices. His first television appearance was on the 2005 series The 4 Musketeers.
He has won 2 César Awards - Best Actor for his performance in the 2018 film Bloody Milk and Best Supporting Actor in the 2020 drama By the Grace of God. He also won a Best Actor Award from the Las Palmas Film Festival and has been nominated for numerous additional honors.
His maternal grandparents are actors Max Vialle and Sonia Laroze. His mother is casting director Tatiana Vialle and his stepfather is actor Bruno Nuytten. His father is production designer Yan Arlaud and his paternal grandfather is scriptwriter Rodolphe-Maurice Arlaud. He has 2 half-brothers who are also actors - Galathée Nuytten Vialle and Tobias Nuytten-Vialle.
He co-starred with Melvil Poupaud and Denis Menochet in By the Grace of God.
