Television actress and daughter of acclaimed actor Sidney Poitier . She has appeared in Joan of Arcadia and Veronica Mars.
She studied at the Tisch School of the Arts and then at Stella Adler Studio of Acting.
In addition to television work, she appeared in the 2007 film Grindhouse.
She has an older sister and four older half-sisters.
Quentin Tarantino directed the segment of Grindhouse on which she appeared.
