Actress best known for playing the role of Kylie Strutmeyer in the 2006 sci-fi horror Slither. She also gained significant recognition for her performance as Taylor Langford in the Nickelodeon series Caitlin's Way. Other notable credits include guest appearances on episodes of Supernatural and Smallville , and the 2010 action film Percy Jackson & the Olympians: The Lightning Thief .
Before she started acting, she was a competitive dancer and motorsport enthusiast. She began her acting career in 1998, playing a small role on an episode of Cold Squad.
She received a "Best Performance in a Children's or Youth Program or Series" nomination from the 2001 Leo Awards for her performance in Caitlin's Way.
She was in a year-long relationship with actor Jensen Ackles , however, the pair split up in 2006.
She appeared in Slither opposite Nathan Fillion and Elizabeth Banks .
