ABOUT TANYA BYRNE

Award-winning young adult author who is recognized for having published the novels Afterlove and Heart-Shaped Bruise. Outside of her novels she has also worked as a freelance journalist and reporter.

She spent eight years working at BBC Radio prior to publishing her first book.

She has been nominated for the New Writer of the Year award at the National Book Awards. She has contributed to the short story anthology, A Change is Gonna Come. Her book Afterlove was optioned by Two Rivers Media.

She has a dog named Frida.

Both she and Stephenie Meyer are popular young adult novelists.
