ABOUT TARUNI SACHDEV
After rising to fame for her appearances in a series of commercials for the Rasna soft drink brand, Sachdev delivered an acclaimed performance in the 2009 Hindi film Paa. During her brief career, she became the best-paid child actress in India.
At the age of six, she appeared in two Malayalam films: Vellinakshatram and Sathyam.
Tragically, she died on her fourteenth birthday in an Agni Air disaster over Nepal.
Born to Haresh and Geeta Sachdev, she spent her childhood in Mumbai, India.
She and Amitabh Bachchan were both in the cast of Paa.
